Overview

Great American's Freedom plan is designed for cars that have between 60,001 and 150,000 miles. If you have a few miles on your vehicle, but want the peace of mind of a rock-solid warranty, this is the plan for you. This warranty plan is valid at any licensed mechanic and dealership in the United States and Canada.

Air conditioner coverage

Compressor.

Brakes coverage

Master cylinder; vacuum assist booster; disc brake caliper; wheel cylinders; compensating valve; brake hydraulic lines and fittings; wheel speed sensors, pressure modulator valve, isolation dump valve and accumulator.

Cooling system coverage

Cooling fan motor; thermostat and heater control valve.

Electrical coverage

Alternator; starter motor; back up light switch; window switches; blower motor, front wiper motors.

Engine coverage

Block, cases, housings, rotor housings, cylinder heads and all internal lubricated parts; turbocharger assemblies; supercharger assemblies; water pump.

Front and rear wheel drive coverage

Differential, final drive, drive axles, transaxle assembly and all internal lubricated parts; axle bearings; constant velocity joints.

Fuel system coverage

Fuel pumps; fuel distributor; fuel injectors; metal lines; fuel pressure regulator; fuel tank and sending unit; diesel accessory vacuum pump.

Steering coverage

Steering gear, steering rack and power steering pump assemblies and all internal lubricated parts; intermediate shaft; main shaft; seals and gaskets.

Transmission / transfercase coverage

Cases, housings and all internal lubricated parts; torque converter; front pump.

24 Hour Roadside Assistance: During the contract term, the following benefits are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anywhere in the United States and Canada: towing, jump starts, flat tire changes, fluid delivery, lockout service, and concierge service. Maximum benefit of $100.00 per incident applies.

Rental Benefit: This benefit will provide you up to thirty-five dollars ($35.00) per day for each day your vehicle is undergoing covered repairs for a maximum of five (5) days per breakdown.

Trip Interruption Intervention: In the event a breakdown of a covered part occurs more than one hundred (100) miles from your home, and your vehicle is inoperative or unsafe requiring it to be in a repair facility overnight, we will reimburse you for receipted lodging and restaurant expenses up to seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per day for a maximum of three (3) days.
